I'm standing in the ascended herbarium desert, picking up sticks that are around the zephyr core and I'm getting tier 1 meat, bones, and hide. I've seen this happen in other ascended realms too

You can not get a stone block without the pick. You need the pick to get the stone. It is a catch 22. If you lose or drop your pick, you can never make a new one.

If i start to drag an icon for my equipped clothing, but then drop it back where it started, the picture disappears

Upon returning to my PC after being away for some few minutes, I saw the idle timer and clicked dismiss. After that, though, I could not move or open any menu.
