Loss of mouse when in The Watch / Inventory

EDIT:
Included that it's spread from The Watch, and effecting both modes of the game, and other realms.

Issue: When hitting tab to open inventory in The Watch, the mouse vanishes unable to even mimic it being on screen complete character lock.
Hitting tab again puts you into a cycle you can not get out of, without hitting escape, which brings up another menu, but at least you have a mouse back to move and hit "close"

Cause: Unknown, happening to anyone who is in the Watch.

Tested Methods:
Escape then clicking inventory - Mouse gone.
Escape then tab - Mouse gone.
In both instances, trying to close with tab as before 0.3, gets stuck in loop, MUST use escape to leave loop.

Why is this bad: People use Tab to access other menus when searching for items, such as checking crafts, cards, general planning.

Work arounds:
1. Hitting the windows key will bring the mouse back as if full use. Tab still doesn't close though, must click "close" top right.
(Slight frame drop in personal testing using this method)

2. (with issues)
Hitting T as if to use the chat box brings the mouse back, however, causes issues itself, as it vanishes if clicked on the screen. Player becomes immobile, even if able to close out of the menu, mouse will be gone, but "hover" sounds can be heard. Only fix for this is to spam click the screen to get it back, click the chat box, then click the screen again to get mobility back.

Mode Both Online & Offline
Impact It's difficult to play or progress
Category Tags UI/UX, Inventory, Controls, Movement
Realm [Biome/Major] Hub - The Watch, Occurs in all Realms
Steps to Reproduce Any player character enter The Watch. Open inventory with Tab.

Happening to me too. Started when I visited a Desert Herbarium. Whenever I open the inventory it borks the whole set of menu tabs, and even if I temp-fix them with the windows key, they re-bork themselves any time I re-open the inventory - which, in a survival crafting game, is fairly often!

Relevant observation: The game behaves as though the inventory is closed while it is open: You can attack, block, etc., as though you were still in first-person mode, while looking at your inventory and character model.

Same here, started in the Herbarium realm. The work around works, but is inconvenient at best. This needs to be addressed ASAP.

This seems to be related to another posting: -

In this posting I found that switching weapons prior to going into your inventory can cause this bug. You should be able to use CTLR-ESC to pop out of Nightingale and back to the OS for a brief moment and then click on the CLOSE button and attempt to reopen your inventory.

This happened to me in offline mode - but not at all until I hit the Herbarium level realms - now a frequent occurence, pretty much every other time I open my inventory. Sounds like a minor bug, but from an actual gameplay point of view it's the kind of thing that's so annoying after a while that you just want to go play something else instead.

I had this happen to me in offline mode in my abeyance of forest. Do not think this is limited to online mode. I had to force close the game.

I wonder if this is what you mean? I'm using controller and had to use the button for settings (holding down the 3 lines button on Xbox controller) in order to escape this comical platformer mode

Can confirm that the same bug happens in other Areas outside of the watch aswell, happens in my Abeyance and other random early game Realms. Even worse, pressing ESC sometimes locks the game in the pause screen unless resolved with using the windows cursor after pressing the windows Key otherwise requires to alt f4
