Particularly Edgar, Joan and Veronique. Though I found their names listed in the portal interface, they were not on the map when I arrived. I did some limited searching, but didn't find them. These maps were all previously visited, so I changed the map level and the problem was resolved. Strangely, this was not the case with Taliesin, who readily appeared on the map, even though that realm too was already visited

To confirm, when you say that these NPCs are not on the map, do you mean that their marker is not visible the way that the Essence Merchants or previous NPCs were, or that these new NPCs were physically absent from the realm.
