I have gone to a portal that leads to an abeyance realm i have and its reset (cards are missing) then when i put the same cards in desert/Abeyance all difficulties show as "open" none as "reopen" a friend of mine opened a swamp\abeyance of mine and i went thru then when i tried to open it a few mins later the above problem happened
