Description:
Companion will sometimes Disappear when going through portals, returning to Respite or after a disconnect
State:
Actively investigating. Need more Information.
Workarounds:
- Go Back to where you recruited your Companion and re recruit them. Sadly, they will not have the inventory they had before disappearing.
- Additionally, it is advised to not entrust the Companion with any item or material that cannot be easily replaced.
To help the Development Team with this issue:
Please send us your player logs along with the timestamp on when you saw the issue so we can look into this further.

Hi everyone!
Our development team was able to get a fix for recruited companions disappearing in the last couple patches. With no new reports coming in we’re going to be closing this post as ‘patched’.
If you’re still running into this issue or something similar, please make a new post and start upvoting it. Upvoting is the best way to ensure visibility on issues and support us in creating a more polished game experience for you and the Nightingale community
