Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
If the pistol recipe is not appearing in the Crafting Menu of your workstation, it is possible that though the augment is intact, is it not linked.
One possible workaround is to free up an augmentation slot at the workstation by moving a currently linked augment far enough way, and then confirm that the necessary augment for the pistol is attached by relocating it. It is also possible to confirm which trait a crafting bench has received from an augment by holding down [E] and selecting the 'Inspect' option.
