Found several fabled beasts stuck either partially, or entirely, inside boulders, making it impossible to kill them (or retrieve the parts, should you be able to damage them faster than they regenerate health).
Seems to happen regardless of biome type.
When returning to the realm later, they will usually be walking around again, but it will hinder you temporarily from acquiring the resources.
