I completed the first Encounter in initially was able to talk to the NPC recruit but did not join and now the NPC won't talk to me to recruit.. no idea how to manage this situation

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Would it be possible for you to attach a screenshot of what your interaction with the NPC looks like? Are you receiving the [E] to Interact prompt? Did you collect the reward from the chest for completing the Encounter?
Thanks for your response.. user error, apparently, there was a further requirement to complete the 3 bedrolls to actually be able to talk/recruit the NPC. When I left the encounter, the quest log only referenced 'completing' the encounter, which I had done and actually, I could interact, then I was left with the NPC not being interactive, ie no [E} to recruit. I am wondering if you would consider adding that to the screen 'quest' steps.. ??
