Carnute Stuck Trying to Regrow Bugged Tree Stump

There's a tree stump outside of my house that is bugged and can't be chopped down. Well, it turns out it also can't be regrown. The carnute comes by on a regular basis and tries to regrow the stump. But, because the stump is bugged, the carnute gets stuck in an endless cycle of yelling at the stump and never leaving because its work isn't done. Now I have a screaming ghost moose stuck forever on my lawn and making a racket. I've tried traveling away to other realms and coming back to no avail. The only fix is quitting the game and logging back in. It's very disruptive to log in and out every time the carnute's cycle comes by.
