So kind of a funny bug... The boss knock me out of the tower with his push ability, and i fell off, and broke my legs... My companion healed me, and once my legs was back to normal i went back in ! But when i came back inside the boss was just standing and doing nothing.. Since the fight was practically over, i just hit the boss until he died...
But after i killed him, nothing happened.. I haven'''t tried reloading or anything yet,
I just wanted to inform you that if you get pushed out of the tower, break your legs, go back inside the game does not registerer that you kill the boss :)

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
To confirm, after defeating the Herbarium Boss, were you able to release the Hope Echo and receive the schematics for crafting the Herbarium Card at the Refined Workbench?
I am unsure.. After i took Down The boss, nothing happened… So i restarted the Quest.
His minions was still alive, and i noticed On my second try, that you had to kill them aswell for it to complete.
So i guess that i would have completed the quest, if i took downs his minions aswell, the first time !
The main issue was more that the boss and his minions wouldn’t move or anything, just standing still and take a beating
