I just noticed that my essence shows as 0 yesterday June 27th, 2024. I have no idea how many I have but I can buy stuff off the vendor in the watch.

Are your essences still showing as 0 since your initial report?
If at all possible, please press F2 while in-game and attach a screenshot of the overlay menu to this post so we can better understand what maybe causing the issue.
