Follower's settings are set to allowed for harvesting and collecting resources. However, more often than not, despite their inventory not being anywhere close to full. they will harvest a resource like ore, stone, or trees but then not collect the dropped resource from the ground even though the permissions is set to allow and they were previously picking up items just fine.

To confirm, have you observed followers failing to pick up bundles of wood? Or do they predominantly ignore certain ores, stones, gems?
