Been pondering what small base additions would make living in the based more enjoyable, things like base Defense, base management, and just base living, this one came to mind: Music boxes.
Now, I want to seperate this from Gramophones: Gramophones need a list of music, possibly made in-studio and etc, to be chosen, put into a music order, and sometimes is just the OST. This is not what I am suggesting, what I am suggesting is those small music boxes, with an almost ethereal sound produced by them.
Small/Large Music boxes that spin a handle, reciting melodies, nursery rhymes, and even orchestral composures, all on tuned metal notes. I think the addition of these would make life in Respite realm all that more special.
Other recommendations down the line, is the addition of a instrument or Backpack that lets you play certain music box melodies.
Another suggestion, but unsure on implementation, is the addition of Cylinder Discs that you can collect that provide more music options.
Other areas to explore could be a Music focused Story, where you lure a monster or a Fae with lost music, Cylinders thought gone , but still exists.
