It would be great if we could "lower" the chandeliers from high ceilings. Chandeliers and other lights have a short radius for effective lighting, so being able to lower them for better coverage would help a lot. Raising/lowering should be either full blocks (the height of a single wall section) or half blocks, and only go as low as a full or half block above the floor below it.
I've often wished for that feature in other games with house building as well. Raising / lowering, or adding an "exposed beam" build item that can be used to attach to at a lower level in those vaulted ceilings.
