In Dr. Frankenstein's quest towards attaining the Automaton Charm Oil, the player is asked to gather Automaton Rook parts so that he can better understand how they work. The player will find, that exploring through the desert biomes (traversed through so far) there are no Automation Rook parts to be found.
NOTE: In Desert Antiquarian biome, the player will find Automaton Knight Parts and in Desert Astrolabe biome, the player with find Automaton Bishop parts.
This essentially requires players to destroy Automaton Rooks in order to complete his quest. As Dr. Frankenstein asks the player not to destroy them initially, (which he asks about at the end of the quest) perhaps it would be an option that the Automaton Rook parts are found in the Desert Antiquarian level rather then Knight parts. This way, players have the option to complete this in a Non-Violent manner.

Yes, this seemed contraditory, him asking you not to destroy them, but having to destroy them anyway. I feel that in Antiquarian Beserts, the Bishop and Knight wires, filigree, plates, and even ingots should be replaced with the parts he asks you to gather. AND He should be more explicit that you bring him the Oil BEFORE taking it to Nellie.
