Like potions, the Spyglass is a utility tool that is always kind of useful to have around. Right now, the inventory management to slot and use it feels like busy work. I concede this could be a balance tweak because you wouldn't have to sacrifice anything to slot the spyglass, but I think the ease of use would more than make up for it.
