Colouration on Character + NPCs are a little off

The clothes on my own character as well as the NPCs seem to be a bit out of wack.
The picture of said clothes in the progress menu are never how they turn out when they are equipped. For example, I just completed the set of the 'calculorian' clothes and they are all different very vibrant colours. The jacket is pumpkin orange, the shirt is a dark green but the tie is neon pink and the hat looks like gasoline does when it shines in light.
I've tried using different materials to create said clothes but nothing seems to change this. The bench used for changing clothes appearances also doesn't appear to fix this either.
