I am not sure if this is a bug or if I haven't moved into a high enough realm. Before realms rebuilt you could find Iron ore in the swamp realms. Now I find salt in the swamp realms which used to only be findable in desert realms. I haven't moved past astrolabe realms yet so maybe its just higher realms than that. Anyone have any insight? I wanted to build an augment that requires it but I don't have enough of the resource.
Found Iron ore in the Welkin's Reach area. Still not sure that the ore isn't supposed to spawn anywhere before reaching this point as I checked both Antiquarian and Astrolabe locations so I will leave this post open just in case.
