Cant Log In - Revisited

Since the Updates in Late Summer '24 I have not been able to log into Nightingale. When I launch the game through Steam the screen goes black for about 30-40 seconds and this popup appears saying "Authetication Error Could not connect to Steam. Please check network connection. [OK] ID <blooming>"


Welllll, I launched this directly from Steam ... so that throws out the 'Could not connect to Steam' part of the message. And since I am physically connected to my internet modem and my PC has not lost internet connection thios rules out the 'Please check the network connection.' part of the message. This leaves two pieces of the message to consider ... 'Authentication Error' and 'ID <blooming>'. Obviously the 'Authentication Error' is correct but kinda nebulous in the details. The 'ID <blooming>' portion of the message essentialy is saying your New login protocols have failed to look up the ID.


So the question is ... What have you folks changed that now makes it so that I cannot access Nightingale through Steam as I was doing for months prior to the new updates.

Steps to Reproduce I can reproduce this each time I attempt to lig into Nightingale through Steam...obviously you're not seeing this as an issue on your side of the developer's wall. But it exists and something changed that makes it Impossible for my to log into the game.
