The first Village in Sylvan's Cradle has a house with a lot of prebuilt crafting stations in it. I've been putting down augments, intending to use it as a base while I gather materials, and every other crafting station seems to be recognizing the augments except the Excellent Cooking Station - no augments are recognized at all. The mortar station (right next to it) is picking up the beehive, but the cooking stations will not recognize any simple fish or cooking augments.
Same problem, suck because I've put all augment near it to realised at the end that it doesn't work !
