I've possibly found a bug? Or a new feature (Not too sure why'd you rip out the original system of dismissing original characters belonging to the Abeyance, that'd be very cruel and nonsensical.)
But, as follows. If you have a companion, set them to 'work here' and then dismiss them. There's a VERY high chance they'll drop their things and completely vanish without a trace, you can't find them back anymore in their point of origin in the Abeyance. (They should actually remain since they belong in your realm of origin.)
I've lost two companions like this already that belonged/are found in the area of origin where also my cairn is at, they are lost to the void. I urge people to not use the usual dismiss function. If its the other way around and its working as intended. Why would you change the system that worked perfectly before? Yes, we've got what we wanted, more survivors. But now i can't even watch them walk around unless i've made those work stations?
By that logic, i can't even have any companions wandering around anymore at all!\

Steps to Reproduce | You have a companion, got their calling card. Put them in the cairn, take them out. Summon them. Set them to "Work here" like you usually do when leaving companions behind. Dismiss them, they walk two steps. Poof, they vanish and you can't find them back, lost to the void. Leaving their items behind. |
