Spontaneously couldn't use righ click. Right click to block with knife works, but not with climbing picks. Couldn't climb with normal jump either. Tried to remap the button .. didn't work. Had to travel to respit for it to work again equally 'spontaneously'.

Yes, when hosting a friend, the host doesn't have it happen, the guest does. Often. Going to main menu and returning fixes it until it happens again, you don't have to restart the client.
For us it seems to be a "host a friend" problem. We tested it online and it seems to work fine.
Neither right click nor regular climbing working with the the picks. switching slots, picks or changing the realm doesn't fix it. just a restart of the client. Seems to just happen to the friend. that connects. doesn't matter if it's LAN without firewall or Internet with firewall and router.
Maybe a general performance problem?

Same here, the right-click grapple for the climbing picks stop working seemingly at random. I'm currently seeing this in Offline mode when playing with friends in co-op most predominantly; relogging fixes it though!
