I'm not sure how this has never been brought up, but my followers have several bizarre habits regarding beds. Many of these bugs should have come up during testing--and indeed come up daily in game--so it feels a little insulting that folks need to point this out after so long in early access.
Levitating while they sleep. Should be an easy fix
Standing on the bed, not doing anything. Get back to work!
Always stealing my bed. Please let us assign followers to beds. I don't understand why this wasn't thought of at some point in the last year.
When you move the bed they're sleeping on, they sometimes are left behind.
When you destroy the floor under those sleeping on nothing, they teleport to where the bed used to be, and again lay back down on the air to sleep
Their eyes . . . why are they sleeping while staring off into the Abyss?
Oh, the eyes make sense: their necks break when they lay down. They're just dead. Of course, they don't always lay down to sleep.
Some followers--check out Willie--have fantastic quads, but should probably be sitting on chairs as intended. It seems that they think an object is always where it was upon creation. I'd shifted the chair back a bit, but Willie didn't get the memo. 'Working' indeed.
Followers have a tendency to stand facing away from their workstations, and do nothing. Poor Elizabeth is pretty old, but . . . she doesn't even realize she's not holding an axe.
Turns out Nettie and Ina like to slowly walk out in the sands, take a 5-sec nap, then sprint back to work. What does the code look like for their sleep cycle?
Ola likes to curl up at the bottom of the bed, let her legs phase through the wall, and stare sightlessly at her pillow on the other end.
Please work on these things. Every time I play, there's another follower bug I hadn't seen before. I'll keep adding to this list as they provide new types of confusion.
