I was at an AID POI in a desert tempest realm a few days ago and completed the POI fine. At that time, I went inside the building and lit the campfire so I could take a nice nap inside before heading out. I put a seed in the flower pot inside, and then thought how sad it was that it would never bloom unless I brought a watering can in to water it. Oh well, I thought, and went about my business.
I had a bit of a break for a few days and came back to the same POI. Imagine my surprise when I saw the flower in the pot had sprouted. How strange. I went to light the campfire again and...it was too wet.
"Did something happen to the roof? Was it damaged?" I thought. Nope. The roof was still there, looking as shabby as it had before.
"Maybe the roof was somehow damaged by hail and I just didn't notice it," I thought. "I'll just build a new roof over it." So I shot out the roof (as one does, because POIs don't let you deconstruct them normally and always choose violence) and build a new Shack roof instead. I used the crafting area I had used the other day which was out front. All of the stations in the covered crafting area were also Soggy and Wet. I was still able to craft the lumber I needed to finish the new shack roof, and went to finish the new Shack roof.
The new Shack roof over the interior space did NOT solve the Wet campfire situation.
What is interesting here is that while typing this up, I went back outside to the covered crafting area to get the exact wording and noticed that the campfire in the crafting area is no longer Wet. Very odd.
