"Give me your hands" not working properly

When I reach this dialogue, I cannot progress at all. I've tried every button on the mouse and keyboard. nothing is going through to get me past this point to get into the first realm. I've already played through the game once and I want to create a new playthrough, but I only make it this far and then I cannot progress.
