Encountered an NPC for a 'help build' quest with the same name as my companion (Adeline in this case). After complete, that NPC followed both of us around performing same task as my companion. Including picking up resources. Unfortunately, those resources can not be retrieved. Not an issue really, just a weird bug. Pretty specific circumstance also
Did they follow you around the map, or just in a small set area?? Normally they have a set area where if they kill monsters or are holding a pick or axe they will hit ore or chop down trees. They will also pick up resources if you create them. It isn't a bug it is just because you are in their sphere of influence for that little location.
