Granville has managed to get stuck under the dock. I still need to talk to him to complete the quest A Lost Spark. I tried re-logging as well as traveling back to respite then to the city and he is still way below the building.

Same thing happened to me after completing the escort quest. Going to try resetting the realm.
Similar problem, except that can't find or see him at all at the docks, post delivery and moving on to other things. Buddy I run with is stuck on Main quest, and I on side quest, as we both need to talk to Mr. Woods. I reset realm tonight so we will try to complete those when next we're on. Hopefully they'll be a bug fix between now and then.
Currently experiencing this exact situation. I escorted Granville from the basement to the docks and he took forever to go inside the building, he just stood outside for a long time and I couldn't get him to come inside to finish that part of the quest. Finally I opened both doors and he came in, only to immediately fall through the floor and I now can't get to him. I have left the realm and come back a few time to no avail, but have yet to reset the realm. Guess I will have to try that next.
Granville is stuck under the docks have restarted the realm many times. now he's stuck on endless diaglog please help me. thank you.
I rescued Granville and escorted him to the docks. There he decided to take a swim and got stuck at the bottom of the sea. When if swim above him I can talk to him but even when I tell him to move on he doesn't move at all.
The head marker on the map shows Granville is still across the street, but he seems to be swimming with the fishes. I hoped tracing my steps and going back to where I found him would make him clip back into place but nothing's worked yet.
I have now twice (after a map reset) escorted Granville Tailer Woods to the appropriate location, completed the dialogue, and the quest has not completed.

Following the quests, you apparently have to talk to Granville 2 more times. I was able to successfully deliver him to the docks, but now I can't talk to him because he's hanging in the ground/half in the water. :(

Had to reset the map to fix this. Then the other escort quest had to be redone as well.
building stairs doesn't help with the quest.
Also there is no way to climb out of the water AT ALL other than traveling out.
I'm in the same situation. He was hard to find without using a telescope. I am trying to build stairs to see if that works. He should not be able to enter or fall in the water. I was at the escort point when he dissappeared. Thus he SHOULD NOT BE IN THE WATER AT ALL.
I was able to continue the quest by resetting Nightingale City, it put Granville back in the burrough
