As the title says, after killing an animal, the corpse sometimes teleports or disappears entirely. The details vary: sometimes it happens immediately after the animal dies, sometimes 30 or more seconds after. Sometimes the corpse only moves a few meters, occasionally I find it up to 50 meters away from the spot it died, and sometimes I don't find it at all, especially in difficult terrain like water, cliffs, or dense forest. In the last case, I can't tell if the corpse despawned very fast or teleported to a place where I can't find it. This means I can't skin many of the animals I kill, making it difficult to obtain already-rare Fabled materials. Please, let the corpses stay exactly where they fall, instead of moving or disappearing. It would also be beneficial to give the corpses a "highlight" glow, similar to the loose materials that fall on the ground from mining, woodcutting, or killing Bound.

It may be the same or related to the bug reports "Creatures Move After Death" and/or "Creatures teleporting around map and Lag". I didn't see those posts appear when I was typing my bug report, but they show up now so I apologize if it's a duplicate. But I want to emphasize the part where the corpses either teleport long distances or disappear/despawn very quickly, because that changes it from a minor annoyance to a progression bottleneck, and also emphasize that I'm experiencing this offline, while those reports were online.
