I gave the offering to the Fabled Bishop in the arena.
It gave me "Automaton's Potion."
However the quest still is unfulfilled and says it wants "Automaton's Charm Oil."
I can find no way to turn the former into the latter.
Is this branch, as opposed to killing it, giving an outdated item?
UPDATE: it gives both. My "helper" yoinked the quest item. The outdated item was placed directly into my inventory.
It looks like the Bishop GIVES you the potion and at the same time DROPS the oil on the ground. I've left feedback on "Automaton Charm Oil v Potion" and recommended that they be switched around - please consider upvoting it.
OK, MY NPC YOINKED THE QUEST ITEM xD
So this is not a blocker after all, BUT, the outdated pre-patch "Potion" is still being deposited directly into my inventory, it seems.
