I've turned all four symbols at the sight blue, and they show blue on the pedestal as well, but it is not triggering the blue pyramid to change.
I don't know if it makes any difference, but one of the symbols was hidden behind a breakable wall in a secret room. That was the first one I turned blue, then the other three.
