Forge card not applying bonus consistently

With a Forge minor card active, making Buttons and Buckles out of Pursuit ore gave the parts +2% greater stats (ranged and crit).

However at the same time, with the Forge card active, making Fasteners out of Titan's Fingernail did NOT apply any bonus to the Fasterners; they came out with the same base stats as Titan's Fingernail ingots.

Is TF maybe not being classed as a Metal item in the code, despite it being called an "ore" that we mine and smelt, since it's basically a tree part? Maybe there's a disconnect somewhere in how TF was classified.

I've heard other reports that folks are not getting consistent results from Forge on other ores / parts, but I don't know if it's the ore, the card, or the part that's to blame o.O

isn't just Forge card. The Lumber Mill doesn't even display any boost of lumber products.

Guest says it doesn't apply to products like reinforced leather, it also doesn't apply to final products. I've taken a regular steel ingot (6 melee 7.5 injury resist) and one I forged on my Forge card realm (10 melee 10 injury resist crafted from iron ore and coal on the forge realm) and I made a pair of indentical weapons using each ingot, both had the exact same stats.

I'm commenting to add some clarity and reproduction steps to this.

The bonus appears when crafting Metal items as expected, but are lost upon the final craft or any non-Metal step, like Gilded Lumber or Reinforced Leather.

One exception to this is that it does not appear to benefit any items crafted from Precious Metal at all. As an example, Gold/Silver Ingots do not have an increased Magick bonus with Forge active, despite being metals.

    Reproduction Steps:

    1. Apply a Forge Card to the realm to craft with.

    2. Craft a Bronze Ingot, noting its boosted value of 8% Melee / 8% Crit

    3. Turn the Ingot into Fasteners, noting the value is still 8% / 8%

    4. Use the Fasteners to craft Reinforced Leather.

    5. Note the bonus is now displayed as 6% Melee / 6% Crit, as shown in the attached image

It'd be nice if it sort of stacked with itself for multi-step crafts.. or well worked at all.

The forge buff on components neither carries over between steps nor applies to final products. I tested this with several tools. Versions crafted with forge active had the same final stats as those crafted without forge.
