At the back of the NPC's stick tent is a Simple cooking station that needs to be supplied with materials. You can add the required sticks but in my instance it only took 3/4 of the stone requirements. No matter what I did it would not let me add the last stone to complete the mission/quest and gain access to the chest.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. If at all possible, please press F2 while near the Aid encounter and attach a screenshot of the overlay menu to this post so we can better understand what maybe causing the issue.

I have a similar issue. I have two Aid POIs without NPCs to start them, but I managed to complete one and cannot complete the other for whatever reason.
