Fired up the game after update and was working fine, decided to to play online with a friend and i closed out the game i couldnt even start up the game to main menu. i get
"Authentication Error- could not connect to Steam. Please check network connection."
i had this error before and cleared out my steam download cache and it worked for one game session. I dont understand why this is happening....

I actually decided to buy the game on epic and the game is working fine on that platform. So it might be a problem with steam. I'm just tired of trying to find the problem with it....
