Tier 3 clothing texture shown on transmog

I thought I would enjoy the fact that clothing now reflects the materials it's made out of however I quickly learned that I'm not a fan of red & black splotchy frog skin. I decided to use the glamour station to change my look back to the starter outfit. It was to my dismay that while yes the transmog did work on my outfit, the texture was still red & black splotches. I used the glamour station just fine with a lower tier of armour after unlocking it just to see what it was like & the texture on my clothes then was the same as the starter outfit. I've included a screen shot to show what I mean.
