randomly the game chooses to infect a crafting station that requires fuel to work. The station will allow you to put in more fuel but then it doesn't actually burn. The player ends up having to recreat all their crafting tables multiple times because of this.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. If possible, please press F2 while in-game and attach a screenshot of the overlay menu to this post so we can better understand what maybe causing the issue.
Other screenshots of your Inventory and/or the Fuel Station's menu(s) will be appreciated, too.

I also ran into this today, F2 screenshot attached. I was not able to get a screenshot of the inventory/fuel station menu, but it was the Refined Smelter with 1 Wood Bundle in the "burning" slot (the Burn Meter was empty) and 24 Wood Bundles in the queue. No items were being crafted.
