I watched the DevBites video earlier today, and it stated that "we were unsure about what type of sword to use for the Victorian era," and the rapier was what was landed upon. Personally, I think that it should have been a "sword cane." It just seems to fit more with the Victorian style to me. Sherlock Holms carried one. Cant get more Victorian than that.
