Dark Seals are not used in any spells, so unlocking them is currently pointless (same with Motor, which is no longer used). It would be great if new spells could be added appropriate to this particular theme, like spells that disorient or debuff enemies.
Example spells might look like:
Make target vulnerable to damage, increasing damage done to them
Slow target's movement
Distract target to make it move in erratic patterns, stand still, and otherwise act confused
Make target freeze in place from blindness
Weaken target's damage
Some spells could affect targets in an area based on charge level, or have stronger or weaker effects based on the target (Darkweavers might not be strongly impacted by slow or blind, but vulnerable to distraction and weakening because of their more intellect-based attributes).
Adding spells for utility rather than direct damage or personal support would make group activities more engaging, allowing people to be more specialized in certain roles rather than everyone just dealing damage the whole time. For instance, you could have a person with Salvation and weakening spells act as combat support rather than direct combatant. The ability to mix-and-match would allow for some quirky builds rather than standard "cleric vs mage" or "illusionist vs necromancer" archetypes.
