Dont really know if this is a bug or a feature so but when completing the quest line to unlock the gauntlets (glory seals) which is shown to be a parallel to the option of seeking help to get the 3 portal parts, you do not get the progression unlock where as if you do the sorrow seals you do. Seems really weird to have it like.
Edit: When you beat the boss and claim the orb at the end of the glory path is does still give you the "progression unlocked" pop up when collecting the card like every other time but doesn't actually do anything in the progression menu.
