Another really grindy and thus supremely unfun boss fight. Running around, hoping for a small chance at an even smaller damage window does not make for a good or engaging fight. For a second I figured the pillars were relevant in some way. Turns out, they weren't. In the end, there is a very simple cheese solution: stand in the opening where you start the fight. Sheliak can't touch you there and that is it. The entire area is very engaging and novel. The boss fight. however, lets everything down. Not because it is hard, but because it is so artificial and apparently designed to punish the player. Whittling down Sheliak took me 83 minutes. (On Champion diff., but I doubt it is going to be much better on a lower difficulty.)
