The size on screen that the umbrella takes up is distracting and difficult to bear.
Reduce the size of the onscreen umbrella when not gliding. Perhaps have it folded and unfurl when gliding? It takes up about 20% of the screen.

It is extremely annoying and I've noticed it increases my stress level since it's basically a necessity and it takes so much from the screen. Just turning the underside transparent might work too or just raising it higher so it only takes 5% of the screen.
