Multiple Companions/Automation

I will begin by saying the companion system that is I place is a perfect start point to begin from, when it’s working as intended it’s one of the most rewarding systems going being able to have an extra pair of hands. However the one downside is only being able to ever have 1 at any given time, with games like “Bellwright” “ASKA” and “lost legion” ushering in a new style of survivals that being a village management survival game, I feel Nightingale wants for a similar system in terms of recruited NPCs go back to your base when not a companion and you are able to give them basic tasks, cutting woods, building, sowing seeds/harvesting and basically doing all the tasks you don’t want to focus on. This then also makes your base feel far more lives in and livelier. I’ve seen this feature been asked multiple times for on the discord, Reddit and most socials. I understand this may not be the direction for online e.g balancing but even adding a custom game setting for offline play to allow more companions or anything adds nothing but more longevity and life to the game. That being said, adore the direction nightingale has been taken recently and honestly this is the one and only change I would ever make to game at this point. Fingers crossed thank you for your time

    Before we are able to recruit more than one, they'll need to fix the behaviour of the recruits. Most people have mentioned how the recruits don't do tasks as directed.
