Please allow us to build upper floors directly off of foundations. Then allow posts / poles to snap directly to the underside of the floors to provide the necessary support.
I was attempting to build my house directly over a river / waterfall. The goal was to allow the stream to flow directly under the house, so I positioned foundations on either side to leave the necessary gap. However, there is no way to bridge this gap with upper floor pieces, as the game always wants foundations at the lowest level. This prevents the house from ever being connected.
If upper floors could be built directly off the side of the foundations, this problem would be solved. Posts / poles should be snappable to the bottom of the upper floor piece, to provide the required support.
This would also allow for bridge building, etc.
