While exploring and harvesting items, it would be immesely useful if we were able to automatically skin animals using a harvesting knife without having to switch weapons.
Of course, this would prevent using spells on weapons, but thats alright as a trade off.
I would also like to see this apply to over activities as well. Perhaps hitting "E" (or interact key) on a resource node would auto-use equipped tools.
You could still manually harvest nodes with "left click" while holding the weapon as well.
Lastly, introduce a toggle for "auto-harvest with equipped item" on/off in the game settings.
