In fact, it's punishing. Currently, it's more efficient to just run ascended realms solo for T4 essence. In group vaults, you only get a measly 7 essence per objective and you have to compete with party members over who gets essence drops from enemies. There's no way to even communicate with others besides a few emotes. We need more social tools and incentives for cooperation if you expect a thriving endgame community ... I've never had an online game feel so isolating and I feel like without fleshing out the social aspects, the game will just become solo/offline preferred (and I really want to see it succeed and thrive)
