To help players keep exploring instead of running back to home base to dump stuff, I recommend that all stacks weighing 0.2kg or less be considered to collectively take up only 1 Inventory space. If any stack in this group suddenly exceeds 0.2kg, then the character is considered "Inventory Full" immediately.
Instead of having to move inventory back and forth to the Recruit,
Packs add more inventory slots to the Recruit.
The Recruit's inventory accepts only items they can equip or use as ammunition. These take up inventory as usual.
The remaining free Inventory slots on the Recruit are how much the Recruit can help carry stuff. If there are N free inventory slots on the Recruit, then the heaviest N stacks on the player are weightless. This represents the Recruit carrying the stacks for them.
Ammunition and equipped Consumables cannot be made weightless in this way.
