Categories should start collapsed, or at least have an option to default to that behavior.
That is, if I want to craft a fishing rod, it's much faster for me to click the "Fishing Rods" category and then choose a rod vs scrolling through the entire list of tools or clicking six times to minimize ammunition and axes and climbing picks and firearms
Or a button toggle for collapse all/expand all
