The scrolling between items in the hotbar does not feel very fluid because it stops at each slot. It becomes difficult to quickly swap to other slots if they are not directly next to the slot you are currently on. In a game like minecraft you can quickly scroll through all of the slots, and I feel like that would feel nice in this game as well.
