The ability to replace existing building tiles with new ones, rather than having to tear down each peice of a building to upgrade its parts (i.e crude to Tudor)
A friend pointed something out to me. The forest used to have cold at night the way the desert has heat during the day. The fact that they removed that from the forest hints strongly that the next biome will be a cold one.
