The ability to reposition entire buildings and their furniture would be really nice for upgrading your base. I'd like to repurpose my first house as a workshop but it sits where I'd like the new house to go. A game with a similar feature is Palia. There's a specific housing map separate from the main map that gives you a bird's eye view of your area and it's overwhelmingly helpful for planning a smooth-flowing base.
It would certainly be nice, but... tbf, Palia has buildings that are all one piece (or rooms, anyway), rather than built from tiles. How do you define what a building is? Just every contiguous tile?
