Can't play online with my friend bc it says I have connectivity issues. My internet is up and running and the current speed is 890mbps download speed. Is this a known bug or are the servers bugging?

I created a character for online play, but when I go to the social tab my character's name shows up as 'Player' instead of the name I gave the character. I can't receive or send invites to friends.
